hathaway seems to have flown a little under the radar as a 40s director, and that’s a shame. lucille ball does a good job as does the rest of the cast, with the exception of cathy downs. william bendix is another smallish actor who most people haven’t heard of, despite being a capable actor in some good films. good film noir here.
