SCREENED AT SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST FILM FESTIVAL

artist’s retelling of his days spent in coney island with his mother. there’s a muted sexuality that drapes the short, but i’m not sure what the point is. artfully done – the artist’s drawing comes to life on the screen and the flashback shots are appropriately grainy, etc. otherwise not compelling.
