Reviewplot and theme-wise it’s sort of a mix between vertigo and rebecca. regrettably, this is the first greta garbo film i’ve seen. through most of the first reel of the film there is musical accompaniment similar to a silent film experience. it’s not a particularly amazing film in any way, but it does a decent job of exploring themes of control, identity and love.
