a wannabe film for wannabes. it takes a certain amount of mental eye-squinting to accept what the filmmakers put forth. there is certainly an element of reality to some of the characters and events, but mostly it came off as topical and not very well researched. this was hidden a bit by the bad storytelling, but not all that well. it will certainly get its share of accolades, but that’s more because of the topic and the people involved than because of any great storytelling, character development, etc. see traffic instead.
