Reviewcatholics are messed up. my only problem with this film is that the protagonist was too fickle for my taste. one minute she wants an operation, the next she doesn’t, one minute she never wants to see a person, then she wants to live with him, and then she doesn’t want to see him again, one minute she doesn’t want to see a friend and the next she’s on her front doorstep asking to move in…it was a bit obnoxious. other than that the film was quite good. the performances were uniformly good and the human drama was natural and meaningful. i didn’t like some of the musical decisions, but you can’t win them all. a good film.
