the best part of this animated fantasy film is the way the movement of the characters is animated. the detail and coloring are relatively simplistic, but the movement looked pretty realistic and it’s a film that came way before the computer animation tools that we have now. the story is pretty stock – evil mother and son want to take over the world and kidnap the opposing king’s daughter. she’s super hot and the hero saves her and the world in the process. it’s really nothing especially interesting or novel. i watched it because it was free and blue underground generally puts together good dvd packages with good quality unknown films. not boring or poor, but not really my thing.
