combines live footage with behind-the-scenes type footage of femi kuti and his band. it’s a well put together film. there’s a nice balance of live footage, discussion of kuti’s philosophy (musically and politically), and background on fela (femi’s legendary father) and the shrine in nigeria. certainly worth checking out for anyone who is moderately interested in world music.
