it’s a classic, but i think it’s dated by now. the production design and sfx are too opaque and some of the acting could have used some work. the music is also very much stuck in the 80s, but that’s the trouble with the 80s – it seems everyone thought it would be a great idea to use synths in all their films. sometimes it works better (blade runner) than others (this). other than that, it’s a good story and kurt russell and isaac hayes are fun to watch.
