Reviewi think that this is the movie that started it off for the “dead end boys” who appeared in several noir/gangster type films during the 30/40s. there’s good social commentary here and it’s an important film, but it’s not really my type of flick. bogart was good, but not great. i liked the juxtaposition of the rich and poor and the commentary, but nothing else really popped out for me.
