Reviewthis one deserves its reputation. sets up the suspense and horror perfectly. things unfold methodically and at a perfect pace – it’s not so slow that we lose interest, but it it’s slow enough to maximize each plot twist and revelation. despite its popularity i was somehow able to stay ignorant of the details of the film which undoubtedly aided the viewing experience. i don’t want to give away anything here in case you plan on watching it. suffice it to say that this movie is quite scary and worth the time. my only minor wish is that the very first scene be cut out. i think it would add an extra layer of suspense to the story – it’s the only scene in the movie that shows the audience more than the characters get to see and as a result i think is better left out.
