Reviewquite simply a modern classic. the soundtrack is great, the acting is uniformly excellent, the look is great, and the screenplay is top notch. it’s a film that, like tarantino’s work, relishes being a film…it knows it’s a film and loves that fact. it’s a world that can only exist in cinema, and is somehow still realistic. my only complaint is that the pacing loosens up towards the end and margaret yang’s character could have been more developed.
