a pretty solid thriller. almost the entire film takes place on a train which adds to the suspense of the picture. in some ways it reminded me of die hard, a lens flare here, some good camera movement there, the confined space…they’re similar enough to mention it. hackman and archer are good as the leads, i wish the bad guys were a little better though. also like die hard, the comic relief is relatively solid and keeps the film balanced. like this review it has an abrupt ending.
