decent film, but the story was better. quick exposition at the beginning to set the scene. movie unfolded pretty quickly which was appreciated. some decent shots based on german expressionism. a good score. leslie banks’ performance left something to be desired. mccrea was good. mostly, though, the film was too expressionistic for my taste.
