a simply staggering film. there’s too much great stuff in this film to comment on here. i’m a bit tired so i’ll just say it’s the greatest film-noir of all-time with some great character actors, a great script, a great score, excellent direction and one of the best endings of all-time. at just under 85 minutes, it’s an extremely tight and efficient film. great stuff.
