Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Year: 1986

Director: Hughes
Reviewwhen john hughes was on he was one of the great filmmakers of his time. this is certainly one of the great films of the 1980s. the commentary track covers anecdotes, changes in the script and such. it’s somewhat informative. the film was fantastic. i was proud of myself because i noticed that the detective’s name is steven lim and later, during the end credits, i saw that the second assistant director is also named steven lim. hughes’ masterpiece is still ‘planes trains and automobiles,’ but this film is great as well.
