not as i remembered it…it actually goes beyond the spicoli character that it’s so well known for. addresses real issues in a candid, but still entertaining, way. that’s not to say that it’s an amazing film, but it’s not a teen film that is all masturbation and drugs. has some funny moments and some good characters, but doesn’t hold up to the hughes classics like breakfast club and uncle buck. this movie has everyone in it…from nick cage to phoebe cates.
