a good idea that could have been better directed. i definitely like the political/social commentary, but there were times when i felt that the mockumentary format showed its limitations. at times the flow of the picture was bogged down a bit by covering different viewpoints to construct the narrative, whereas an omniscient pov would have circumvented these slowdowns. overall it’s a rather prophetic picture, and one that was well-timed considering i just watched coverage of the rnc.  .
