pretty good war film from robert aldrich. eddie albert didn’t do the greatest job with his character. he played a sniveling rich, cowardly captain who gets it in the end. i don’t have anything stunning to say about this film. i recognize that this is a good film and it created some fine moments and some good characters, but so far i’d have to say that i’m underwhelmed by alrich’s work.
