would have been better suited as an hour long pbs show. the performances of funk brothers songs by artists like ben harper and joan osbourne could have been cut. the information was interesting and the story was compelling so why did it have to be bogged down by full length performances by second rate artists? worth watching because of the magnitude of the content, but could have been presented better.
