i guess in 1987 this movie may have been profound, but it’s not anymore. i’m never very interested in tales that revolve around sex or sexual identity or relationships of this kind. they just don’t hold my interest and i always feel like i’m watching the lifetime network. now this film had production values far outweighing that of the lifetime channel, but the story had the same feel and i just don’t dig that. however good themes and issues were addressed so…
