one of the best fantasy films of allt-time. if this were made today, though, the sets would be so digital that it would take away from the charm. no, a movie like this needs to be made on a relatively slim budget in order to caputure the proper tone. the principals are well acted and the story is great. it has comedy, it has emotion, it has pure good and evil and, even though it acknowledges that it’s just a fairytale, it still has power.
