i can’t remember the specifics of the book so i don’t know where it strayed (they do mention certain instances in the commentary though), but i felt that this rendition did a fine job with the broad strokes that golding laid down. on the whole they did an okay job with the child actors. piggy was very good and everyone else was okay.
