i’ll complain first – the love story portion of the film didn’t really do it for me, but then again it wasn’t overplayed either so that didn’t detract from the film too much. we don’t see the parents even once in this film and obviously that’s part of the problem, but really the larger problem is the perception that grades are an indicator of anything beyond classroom performance. all in all a good stylish film with some genuine moments and good social commentary. worth a look.
