a pretty damn funny film. it’s not all fun and games, there are some serious moments surrounding growing up, love, politics, etc., but overall it’s meant to be a sort of love poem to an italian town and its people. they certainly are an odd group and it makes for a good subject. the acting was good and the direction struck a perfect balance in terms of tone….like i said before, it isn’t just a comedy – it does have some poignant moments.
