Reviewabout as epic as they come. a good film with some real moments, but didn’t amaze me all that much. charles laughton was very good, as was kirk douglas. the film, to me, is almost as much about politics as it is about one man’s search for freedom. definitely a fine film, but didn’t bring me to tears like kubrick has done many times before.
