paul muni (30s) version. thought i had seen it, turns out i saw the, inferior, later version. this movie rocked from beginning to end. it rocked for different reasons at different times. sometimes it was witty and funny. other times it was kinda heavy or sad. other times it was exciting and nerve racking. very good. paul muni, though not good as scarface (in my humble opinion) esp. compared with pacino, was very good in this flick.
