excellent film. don’t know about the book, wish i had the discipline to read it, but i don’t. the film, though, i have seen twice and it’s absolutely epic. well done. best john ford movie i’ve seen, and that’s saying a lot. henry fonda and ma joad – forget the actress’s name – are both great. kick ass script though i’m not sure how much of it came from the novel.
